Amidst all the controversy surrounding an alleged meddling in the US elections, both President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump, seemed to be getting along rather well despite other media claims. Recently, a photo opportunity in Vietnam – has both men standing next to one another. They took this opportunity to have a much needed brief chat.
A formal meeting was declined at the moment by The White House, as both leaders attended the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Danang, Vietnam. Kremlin officials, are in talks for another meeting. Then the two leaders, can sit down together and talk further about various different issues.
Vladimir and Donald, both exchanged in a brief conversation together, shaking hands with other world leaders who were nearby as well. Putin and Trump’s interactions appeared to be more substantial than what was captured by the few journalists who were permitted to witness them.
The leaders walked around a hilltop, which overlooks a scenic view that includes a nearby resort along Danang’s famous beachfront. This took place today Saturday the 11th. Both Donald and Vladimir have had their relationship hindered, by sanctions forced by Congress and U.S. diplomatic expulsions from Moscow.
The United States, has been unable so far to question Russia further about both Syria and North Korea. The investigations happening by special counsel Robert Mueller, have intensified things on a political level, regarding any involvement of Russia in the United States election process.
Seen today, was video footage of both Donald and Vladimir walking together. Putin was then seen gesturing as they exchanged words with one another. Both of them came in later, as the other leaders reached the photo location, standing in several rows assigned to them. This red carpet stage was set, as it was decorated with flowers spelling out “APEC Vietnam 2017 Danang 11 November”. Both Trump and Putin waved at one another while the photographers snapped photos of everyone on stage.
The Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, walked down the path to the photo staging area. He was immersed in heavy conversation while on his phone.
