Celebrities Who Have Tested Positive With Coronavirus

We are in dark times right now and many are left wondering what to do. Amidst the panic and hysteria of this outbreak, Hollywood is feeling the effects as well. A number of celebrities and public figures have now tested positive.

Most recently, German-American model, television personality Heidi Klum has become ill. It is unknown if she has the virus or not. However, a number of celebrities such as Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, have both been placed in quarantine. Both Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks commented about their conditions:

“We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches,” Mr. Hanks said in the statement, which was also posted on Instagram. “Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers, too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”

Idris Elba is the latest celebrity to reveal that he has been diagnosed with coronavirus. He shared the news via social media on March 16. “This morning I tested positive for COVID-19,” he wrote. “I feel ok. I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.”

Other celebrities have tested positive recently such as Kristofer Hivju and Olga Kurylenko.

N.B.A. ‘s Rudy Gobert and Kevin Durant, have shared that they too are infected with the Coronavirus. Perhaps more celebrities among others have been infected. It will take quite some time for all of this, it is unknown if a cure can be made yet. The best thing to do is follow good social distancing procedures.

From what is understood, reports from the World Health Organization stated that there have been a number of Coronavirus Cases. The most recent figure is 208,202 cases with 8,272 known deaths so far. There have been reports of those having the COVID-19 coronavirus within the first weeks of the pandemic.
