The pair have been together since 2016, when they quietly began dating one another. It seems it was inevitable for this pair to tie the knot. Sources from both Harper’s Bazaar and Us Weekly confirmed that Zoë and Karl are now officially married.
Both love-struck actors, have been incredibly private about their personal lives. They reportedly were already engaged for around eight months previously.
Zoë previously said, “Oh yeah, I’m engaged. I haven’t told anyone yet. I mean, I haven’t told the world.” In regards to the proposal, she said, “He nailed it. And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants.”
Now, Karl has a father in law, rocker Lenny Kravitz and his mother in law actress Lisa Bonet. Thirty year old Zoë Kravitz, is best known for her role portraying “Bonnie” on HBO’s hit drama, Big Little Lies. In the meantime, Zoë, along with co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley, will all return to the screen on June 9th for the second season of Big Little Lies.
Her now 31 year old husband Karl Glusman, has starred in Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals along with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
Back in January, Zoë admitted that she found the wedding process daunting, stating, “I’m planning, slowly but surely. It’s a little intimidating, but I’m excited. And I’m just starting to put everything together. So … wish me luck!
She also said, “[I want to be] doing less things, but doing them better. Instead of doing a bunch of projects, I’d like to develop one project, which takes longer, but feels so much more rewarding, especially when you’re getting something made that probably wouldn’t have been made otherwise. That, and then also just really trying to enjoy life and take the time to spend time with people who I love.”
One source says, that the couple will undergo a rather traditional ceremony next month in the country of France. Some wonder whether or not, the couple will face any legal issues like musician Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner did.
They originally planned a wedding in France but were later forced to hold the ceremony back in the United States first. Time will tell what happens next to the pair and a lot of eyes will be on them.
