A longstanding feud has been going on with singer Taylor Swift and a few other celebrities. Now that time has passed, can they simply bury the hatchet? Taylor Swift is spunky and doesn’t like to back down from a good fight.
It may be part of this same spunk, which has further propelled her to the top of the music business. It seems nowadays, she is everywhere on social media, magazines, radio and more.
Certainly she has her troubles with finding a steady man in her life, but one day she will settle down. Her spirit still remains free and untamed for now, until Mr. Right comes along to whisk her away.
There is no denying the lady has skills to pay the bills. Swift just recently released a new lyric only video entitled “Look What You Made Me Do.” It has received some mixed reviews.
This song was just published on YouTube by Swift’s management, and it has already reached an astounding amount of views over the course of several days. Her graphic only video seen on YouTube, has nearly been seen 29 million times already. One thing for sure is the video has just reached the one-day record so far.
Simply amazing, as she doesn’t even appear in the video (other than her voice), now that is star power! Many of Swift’s fans speculate, that this song may well be about different celebrities she has had bad blood with.
Perhaps the most notorious of these celebrities is her encounter with Kanye West back in 2009, during the Video Music Awards. Kayne stormed onto the stage, proclaiming that singer Beyoncé really deserved the bestowed honor. Later, he apologized for what he did. Everything was find until Kayne later released his song “Famous.”
His video, included the lyrics “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. I made that bitch famous.” The two began feuding again about whether or not Swift gave him permission for the lyric.
Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” is directed towards Kayne West. However, one can only speculate to whether or not—all of this is a mere marketing stunt by both parties involved. This is the first single which has been released by Taylor Swift in three years.
“I don’t like your little games, don’t like your tilted stage,” Taylor sings as a reference to West’s recent tour where he used a floating and tilted stage. There are a number of rumors about whether or not Kayne did have permission but the use of these lyrics but Kayne’s wife Kim Kardashian swiftly defended to husbands name.
While Kim has become a reality television star, she mentioned that Swift did approve of the song after all. As things unfolded, Kim Kardashian spoke with GQ magazine, a supposed letter was sent to an attorney prohibiting the release of this song. Swift was accused of playing the victim to all of this. It is still unclear who was right and who was wrong, but it still remains good news for the entertainment business.
